Grilled Stuff Mackerel & Sweet Soy Sauce
Grilled Stuff Mackerel & Sweet Soy Sauce 
 Portion for 6
  • 6 Large size Mackerel or Kembung Hitam
  • 4 Red Shallot
  • 4 Lobe of Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 inch Ginger
  • 2 Tsp of Salt
  • 2 Red Chillies
  • 2 Tbsp Chilly Paste
  • 2 Tbsp of Cooking Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Sugar
Preparation of Ingredient
  • Clean the Mackerel, make a deep slit on the back of Mackerel for stuffing,keep aside.
                                                              For stuffing & Filling
  • For stuffing pound finely 3 shallot,3 lobe of garlic,onion, ginger with 1 Tsp of Salt. 
For the sauce
  • Grind the remaining shallot, garlic,ginger into a find texture add in chilly paste sugar,sweet soy sauce and sugar
  • Slice thinly the red chillies.
How to Grilled the Mackerel?
  • Stuff in all the pounded ingredient as filling into the front and slit of the Mackerel 
  • Grill it in the oven for 20 minutes at 190 degrees
Preparing the Sauce
  • In a heated frying pan add in 2 Tbsp of cooking oil, later add in the grind-ed  ingredient and stir gently until cooked.
